2 Betty Crocker gingerbread cake mixes
2 eggs
2 tsp. ginger
4 tbsp. flour
2-1/2 c. warm water
4 or more Granny Smith apples thinly sliced
4 tbsp. melted butter
3/4 c. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix gingerbread cake mixes, eggs, ginger, flour and warm water. Mix sliced Granny Smith apples with melted butter and brown sugar in bottom of 12-inch Dutch oven. Pour batter over apples (reserving some to bake separately if makes pan too full). Bake at 350 (or using coals) for 25-30 minutes.
