1/2 c salad oil
1/4 c soy sauce, preferably Kikkoman
1/3 c diced onion
1/4 c diced celery
3 tbsp plus 1 tsp rice or white vinegar
2 tbsp peeled fresh ginger root
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp catsup
1/4 tsp black pepper

Directions:

Place all ingredients in blender until vegetables are pureed. Store in a covered jar and shake before using.

This is the dressing used at the Mustard Seed Restaurant for salads and as a marinate for some of the chicken dishes. Great with noodles and chicken stir fry.
