3/4 c shortening
1 c sugar
1 c packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 c quick-cooking oats
1 c flaked coconut
1 c salted sunflower seeds

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the oats, coconut and sunflower seeds. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown
