1 cube butter
2 eggs
2 c brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
4 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp all spice
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp mace
1 tsp baking soda
1 c cold coffee
1 1/2 c raisins
1/2 c currants

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix flour and spices together. Mix the baking soda with warm water. Add to sugar mixture. Add dry ingredients and enough cold coffee to get what looks like cake batter. Add raisins and currants. Grease and flour 1 large loaf pan. Bake at 350º for about 45 minutes
