1 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 package of cream cheese (4 oz.)
1 jar of apricot or raspberry preserves
1 egg
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and salt in bowl. With pastry blender, cut in 1/2 c. butter and cream cheese. Lightly form a ball and refrigerate until chilled. Roll out on floured board to 1/8” thick. Cut out 31 4x2-1/2” hearts. Take one heart, place 1 tsp. of preserves in center, brush edges with beaten egg, cover with another heart. Press edges together, put on a lightly greased cookie sheet, brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with sugar. Bake 10-12 minutes at 400º until golden and crisp.
