1 Duncan Hines Spice cake mix
2 to 3 ripe bananas mashed
1/2 c oil
1 c water
1/4 c packed brown sugar
3 eggs
3/4 c chopped pecans or walnuts roasted with 1 tsp butter
1 can Betty Crocker whipped Cream Cheese Frosting
1/8 to 1/4 c Caramel topping

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 6 ingredients then mix on low speed for 1 minute. Scrape sides of bowl and mix on higher speed for 2 minutes or until well mixed. Add 1/2 of the chopped roasted nuts and fold in to mixture. Pour into two 9 inch greased floured cake pans and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until cake tester come out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes and then turn out onto cooling racks. When thoroughly cooled, place first cake on plate and spread caramel evenly over the top. Next spread a layer of the Cream Cheese frosting over the Caramel. Place next cake layer on top and ice the top and sides with remaining cream cheese icing. Sprinkle with remaining roasted nuts.
Tip: If you mix 1/4 c confectionary sugar with the caramel and chill for 1 hour, it will be less runny.
