Crust:
2 c. flour
2 T.sugar
pinch salt
1/2 c. butter

Filling:
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. cut up rhubarb
3 egg yolks, beaten
2 T. flour
1/3 c. cream (milk)

Meringue:
3 egg whites
6 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour, sugar, salt and butter like pie crust and pat into bottom of 8x8 pan. Bake 325° for 30 minutes.

Mix sugar, rhubarb, beaten egg yolks, flour, and cream. Put on baked crust. Bake 40 minutes at 350º. For meringue beat egg whites with sugar until stiff. Cover torte with meringue. Brown 15 minutes at 350º.
