1 c. soft butter
1/3 c. whipping cream
2 c. flour
white sugar

Filling:
1/3 c. soft butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
thin with milk or water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, whipping cream, and flour. Chill if necessary. Roll 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 1 1/2 rounds. Coat with white sugar on both sides. Put on ungreased baking sheet. Prick with fork 3-4 times. Bake 7-9 minutes at 350º. Put 2 cookies together with filling.

Filling:
Mix powdered sugar and vanilla. Thin with milk or water ( I find I need about 1 1/3 of this recipe to fill them full enough).
