2 c. All Bran or Raisin Bran
1 c. boiling water over the bran
2 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
2 ½ tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pour water, then buttermilk, over bran and cool.
Cream sugar and Crisco. Add eggs, flour, bran mixture to sugar/Crisco. Batter can be kept in refrigerator 2 weeks.

Put directly in pans–sticks to paper cups. Bake at 375º for 20 minutes.
