1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups plain flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Blend sugar and butter. Beat eggs and add to mixture. Sift flour & salt together and add to egg & sugar mixture then beat until smooth and light. Add vanilla and chopped nuts. Mix and drop with a spoon on greased cookie sheet well apart to allow for spreading. Put a pecan half in the center of each wafer and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes.
