2 1/4 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 egg
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash ground black pepper
1/4 cup vegetable oil, divided

Optional Toppings:
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup warmed apple sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Mix potatoes, onions, egg, flour, dill weed, salt and pepper in medium bowl. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a non-stick skillet over mediium heat. Drop 1/2 cup of potato mixture in hot skillet and flatten into pancake shape with spatula. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining potato mixture and oil. Top with a dollop of sour cream or applesauce, if desired.
