2 c.tomato juice
1/2 tsp.baking soda
1/4tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/2 tsp. basil
2 c. whole milk

Directions:
Directions:
Bring tomato juice and baking soda to a boil in a large sauce pan 4x as large as the volume of juice, the baking soda will cause the juice to foam up a lot.

Add the pepper, celery salt and basil allow it to simmer 5 minutes.

Add the milk and constantly stirring so it doesn't scorch and heat it to nearly boiling.

Remove from the heat and serve with crackers or grilled cheese.
