8 slices egg or raisin bread
6 eggs, beaten
1/3 cup sugar
2 cups buttermilk
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange bread in a single layer in a 9 x 13 inch pan.

In a medium mixing bowl, mix eggs, sugar, buttermilk, nutmeg, cinnamon and butter. Pour mixture over bread and turn slices to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 400º for 10 minutes or until golden. Serve with warm maple syrup
