1 package active dry yeast
½ c. luke-warm water
1 T. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 c. scalded milk
2 T. salted butter or margarine
⅓ c. sugar
2 beaten egg whites
4 ½-4 ¾ c. flour

Directions:
In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water with 1 T. sugar. Scald milk in saucepan. Add butter, salt, and sugar. Cool to luke-warm. Add the milk mixture to yeast mixture. Be sure the milk has cooled! Add beaten egg whites and flour. Mix well. Dough will be sticky. It does not need kneading.
Cover and refrigerate two hours to overnight. Divide dough in half, roll our on floured surface. Spread melted butter, cut into wedges, roll wedges into crescent rolls. Let rise until it's double in size (1-1 ½ hours). Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, or until lightly brown.
