¼ teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup mashed bananas
1 egg
1/3 cup margarine (softened)
½ cup sugar
¾ teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the above ingredients in a mixing bowl. Hand stir it until it's blended. Put in greased muffin tin or in muffin papers. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes. Makes about a dozen normal sized muffins.

(Sifting is important, otherwise, this muffin, which is very dense anyway, is even heavier. The sifting puts air in the flour, which transfers to the muffins.)
