2 lbs Sirloin, flour,1/3 cup butter, 3 medium onions chopped, 1/2 lb mushrooms sliced, salt& pepper, 2/3 cup tomato juice, 1/2 cup sherry, 1 1/2 cup water, 2/3 cup sour cream

Directions:

Cut meat in thin strips, dredge with flour, brown quickly in skillet in half the butter. Remove meat and add remaining butter. Add onions and mushrooms. Cook 5 min. Add meat, sprinkle with salt & pepper. Add tomato juice, sherry, and water. Bring to boil, cover and simmer 2 hours or until meat is tender. Remove from heat, stir in sour cream. Serve at once.
