2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion
white vinegar
1 medium head of cabbage-shredded

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in olive oil for 5 minutes on medium heat or until clear. Add shredded cabbage-stirring frequently until cabbage starts to wilt( you can add sm amount water if needed to avoid sticking). Add 1 tablespoon vingar( or vinegar to taste), cover and cook on low heat until cabbage is at your desired tenderness. Salt and Pepper to taste. ( I usally do not measure the vinegar. I just add a little at a time until I have the tartness that I like .)

I got the idea for this dish from Maw Maw Roper's Thanksgiving brocoli dish. I serve with smothered round steak or pork chops.
