Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/3 cup dry sherry or other dry white wine
1/3 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp white or balsamic vinegar
1 1/2 tsp sugar or honey
1/2 tsp ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients in a sauce pan
Stir and bring to a boil, turn off heat and let cool
Use fork to prick steaks on both sides
Pour sauce over steaks
Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours turning over the steaks every hour.
Pat steaks dry with paper towels prior to putting on grill.
Note: Every grill performs differently and everyone has different tastes. My choice is to preheat on high, grill steaks for 2 1/2 minutes on one side, 2 minutes on othe side, place on platter and tent with aluminum foil for 5 minutes and have perfect medium rare steaks

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This marinade works well with all types of steak. It goes very well with a sirloin steak that has been cut and trimmed for 2 or 3 people.
