* 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
* 1/2 cup chunky or smooth peanut butter
* 1/2 cup white sugar
* 1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
* 1 egg
* 1 and 1/4 cups all purpose flower
* 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
* Preheat oven to 375 degrees
* mix the butter, peanut butter, white sugar, and brown sugar with a spoon. Add the egg mix until fluffy.
* In a separate bowl mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together
* Add the dry ingredients to the other mixture, mix well. add the chocolate chips.
*drop cookie dough by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes
