2 lbs Idaho Potatoes (Baked)
1 lb. Sauerkraut (1 pk any brand)
1 Granny smith apple
1/2 lb. Bacon
Some cloves
Few black peppercorns

Directions:
Directions:
Peel potatoes, cutr in 4/6 pieces put in a pan.
Add cubed apple on top put the sauerkraut and the spices.
Cook for about 25 min until potatoes are done.
Remove water and mash (take out cloves and peppercorns).
Dice or cut the bacon in small pieces.
Bake most of the fat out.
Add bacon and some baconfat to the sauerkraut.
Serve with Pork chops or polish sausage.
Serve warm or room temp.

*Can leave potatoes in cubes and not mash for a different dish
like a potato salad.
