1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening with sugars. Add peanut butter and mix well. Beat in egg, vanilla and milk. Add flour with salt and baking soda. Make in to balls and roll in sugar.

Bake at 350º for 10 minutes. Remove pan from oven.

Push a chocolate star into the center of each cookie. Return to oven and bake 5 minutes longer.
