[1/2] 1 cup shortening
[3/4] 1 1/2 cup sugar (white)
[1] 2 eggs
[1] 2 cups flour
[1] 2 teaspoons cream of tarter
[1/2] 1 teaspoon baking soda
[pinch]1/8 teaspoon salt
[1] 2 teaspoon cinnamon
[1] 2 tablespoons sugar (brown or white)


Directions:

1.Mix together shortening, sugar (white),and eggs.
2.Sift together flour, cream of tarter, baking soda, and salt and mix w/mixture.
3.Chill dough.
4.Preheat oven at 400*F.
5.Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
6.Roll into mixture of [1] 2 tablespoons sugar (brown or white) and [1] 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
7.Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
8.Bake until lightly brown, but still soft.
9.Bake about 8-10 minutes.
