5 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
5 T. oil
1/2 c. buttermilk
3 tsp baking powder in 1 c. flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3 - 3 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients. Place batter into a drop donut maker.

Heat oil for frying to 350 - 375º

Drop 3 - 4 donuts into hot oil at one time.

Drain on paper towels

These freeze well.
