1 bag (10 oz) washed and dried spinach
3/4 lb. fried bacon, crumbled
1 c. almond slivers, toasted
1 granny smith apple thinly sliced

Dressing:
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. oil
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. red onion, chopped
3 Tbsp. cider vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Tear spinach into bite sized pieces removing any large stems. Add crumbled bacon, apple and toasted almonds. Almonds can be toasted in a 350º oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

Next, mix the dressing ingredients in a blender and pour over spinach. The red onion will give it a beautiful pink color.

Toss dressing with spinach immediately before serving.
