2 Tbsp. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
2 eggs
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. evaporated milk
1 c. hot water
5-6 c. bread flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Beat eggs; add sugar and salt. Add evaporated milk and hot water; beat well. Add yeast and beat; add enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead until thick; spread with butter. Fold over; roll out again and spread with butter. Repeat four or five times. Roll 1/2 inch thick and cut in strips 1 inch by 1/2 inch and put three or four in muffin tins standing up. Let rise until light and bake in 400º oven for 15 to 20 minutes until done and light brown.
