1 ¼ c. Water
1 Tbsp softened butter
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
3 ¼ c. bread flour
2 Tbsp sugar
1 ½ tsp. salt
½ tsp dried rosemary leaves
¼ tsp dried thyme leaves
¼ tsp dried basil leaves
1 ½ tsp yeast
¾ c. shredded cheddar cheese

Measure and add liquid ingredients to bread pan
Measure and add dry ingredients (except yeast) to bread pan (include cheese). Use finger to form a well in the flour where you will pour the yeast. The yeast cannot come in contact with the liquid. Measure yeast and carefully pour into the well.
Bake the bread on the Basic setting with your selection of crust color.

With my machine it takes 3 hours to bake this 1.5 lb loaf. (I added the cheese to make it garlic-herb cheese bread)
