1/2 c butter, softened
1/4 c sugar
1 egg, separated
1 tsp vanilla
1 c flour
1 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Beat egg yolk and vanilla. Blend in flour and salt. Shape into 1 inch balls. Dip each ball into egg white and roll in chopped nuts. Place on cookie sheet. Dent center of each ball with your thumb. Preheat oven to 350º. Bake 5 minutes. Remove and dent center again. Bake an additional 12-15 minutes. Cool and fill with tinted frosting.
