3C. flour
1/2 tsp.salt
sift together
1 C. shortening
1 eggyolk( save egg white)
3/4 C. milk Mix above together and add to flour mixture. Forn into dough. Take half, roll out and place in 12 x 18 pan.
5 C. apple slices peeled and cored.
2 Tsp.flour
1 1/2 C. sugar
Cinnamon to taste
1 Tsp. butter
Mix above together. spread on crust in pan. Cover apples with 1 C. corn flakes.
Roll out remaining dough. Cover apple mixture and
seal edges.
Beat egg white and spread over top crust.
Bake at 425 degrees for 20 min. Reduce to 350 for 30 min.
