1 c. regular rice
1 stick margarine/butter
3 c. water
1 envelope onion soup mix

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in an oblong casserole dish.
Cover and bake @ 325 1 hour. Stir to blend after margarine has melted.

This is delicious side dish just like this. You can also add cooked leftover beef or chicken to make it a complete meal.
