6 oz pkg strawberry jello

2 cups boiling water

1/2 c sugar

1 large can crushed pineapple

(reserve juice)

1 1/4 c cold water

1 (12 oz) bag cranberries

(dried and sweetened)

2 large red delicious apples

1 c chopped walnuts (reserve 1/4 cup for top)

1 medium sized can mandarin oranges, drained

Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add sugar. Stir well. Add pineapple juice. Add 1 1/4 c cold water. Let cool. Chop or grind cranberries and apples. Add remaining ingredients to cooled jello. Refrigerate until set. Sprinkle reserved 1/4 cup nuts on top. Enjoy!.
