2 sticks butter
2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 c bananas, mashed
1/4 tsp vanilla
3 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 c chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Sift together flour, salt and baking soda. Set aside.
Melt butter. Mix butter and sugar until well blended. Agg eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Add bananas and vanilla. Add in dry mixture and walnuts, mix until all flour is moist.
Grease two loaf pans and divide batter equally between pans.
Bake for 1 hour or until center of loaf is firm and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
