Directions:
Divinity: Cook sugar, syrup and water until 252º degrees or hard ball. With mixer at high speed beat 2 egg whites until soft peaks form. Slowly add syrup and beat until thick. Add vanilla and nuts. Divide into six rolls
Caramels: Mix above ingredients in boiler using 1 c Carnation milk. When mixture comes to a boil, add the remaining 1 c Carnation milk, stiring until mixture reaches 236 degrees (soft boil). It will be somewhat thick. Remove from heat and set bolier in pan of ice water to help cool down caramel. Beat. Add vanilla when caramel starts to cool. Beat until thick. Pour onto baking sheet and let continue to cool. Divide into 6 sections. While still somewhat warm, wrap around the divinity rolls. Place chopped pecans in large container and roll pecan rolls until well coated in pecans.
