1 c. water
3/4 c. white Karo syrup

Boil to 300º on candy thermometer (hard crack). Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon oil and a few drops of red cake coloring. Pour into well buttered pans (thin) cut or break into pieces and drop in powdered sugar to coat.
