Chocolatey Chocolate Brownies Recipe

1 stick oleo
1 Cup Sugar
4 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla
1 Cup + 1 Tlbs flour
1 can Hersheys chocolate syrup
1/2 cup of peanut butter



Frosting
Combine in small sauce pan
6 Tbsp. Oleo
6 Tbsp. milk
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
8 oz. Bag of Chocolate Chips
1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter

Place in large bowl: Oleo, Sugar and Eggs
Combine and beat well. Add remainder of ingredients Pour into prepared 11x17 inch jelly roll pan. Preheat oven to 350 º Bake for 20 minutes or less. Cool completely before icing.

Frosting: Combine ingredients in a small pan. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute only. Add 8 oz package of chocolate chips and 1/2 cup peanut butter. Stir until chips are melted and smooth. Spread over brownies while frosting is still hot.

Way back in the 70's, my friend, Joanie Willoby gave me this recipe which she got from Berta Ellis. She modified Berta's recipe by adding peanut butter. I have made these several times for friends who always wanted the recipe. I even made a batch for Paul to take to work. They are so-o-o good.
