18 jalapeño peppers(2 1/2"- 3" inches in length)
1 clove of garlic (pressed),
1 pkg (8 oz.) cream cheese (soft)
1 c (4 ozs) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 c mayo
1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
2 egg whites
1 tbsp milk
3 c corn flakes cereal (crushed)
1 jar salsa

Preheat oven 350º. Cut peppers in half, length wide. Remove seeds. Press garlic into 1 qt size bowl. Add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mayo and oregano. Mix well. Put about 1 tbsp of mixture into each pepper half. Lightly whisk egg white and milk together. Crush corn flakes in plastic bag. Start dipping peppers in egg mixture. Then dip into crushed corn flakes to coat. Place pepper halves filled side up on baking pan. Spray peppers with vegetable oil. Bake for 30 minutes or until peppers are tender. Serve with salsa.
