1 lb powdered sugar
1/4 t salt
1/4 c milk
1 t vanilla
1/3 c soft margarine

Directions:
In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Beat with electric mixer or heavy spoon until smooth and creamy; scrape bowl often. (If too stiff to spread or decorate with easily, beat in a FEW drops of milk.) If used ONLY for decorating use the milk slowly to be sure thick enough. Also, if you need only to decorate, you can get small tubes of color gel at the grocery for less than the price of the sugar and coloring.
