2 eggs beaten slightly
1/2 c sugar
2 c milk, scalded
1 t vanilla
1 c raisins
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Beat eggs. Add salt and sugar. Blend in milk after it has been scalded and cooled. Butter a 1 quart casserole dish heavily. Break 3 or 4 or more slices of white bread into bits. Add 1 c raisins. Pour custard over the bread and raisins. Then bake at 325 º - 350º until done. This will be about 45 mins. to 1 hour. Serve with cream or a spoon of cool whip.
