1/2 c Milk - scalded
2 tbsp Shortening
1/4 cup Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 cake Yeast
1/4 cup Water

2 Egg Yolks - beaten
2 1/2 cup Flour

1 3/4 cup Sugar
1 tbsp Cinnamon

This is exactly how it is written without any editing, but I think there a couple of steps assumed.

Scald 1/2 c milk 2 tbsp shortening 1/4 c sugar 1tsp salt
Add 1 cake yeast in 1/4 c water
2 beaten egg yolks
2 1/2 c flour
Beat well, Let rise 10 min
Mix 1 3/4 c sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
Shape in 2 rolls, brush with melted butter, then put sugar mixture Divide into 12 pieces Roll between wax paper real thin Let rise 30 min
Bake at 325
