2 sticks butter or margarine
1/2 cup butter-flavored Crisco
2 3/4 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups AP flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup milk
1 tsp. each of the following: coconut, vanilla, lemon, rum, butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, Crisco and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.

Sift flour and baking powder together. Add alternately with milk. Add flavorings last.

Bake at 325º for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until firm in the center.

Glaze:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
Mixed together and cooked over medium heat until slightly thickened.

Drizzle glaze over the cake while it is still warm.
