1 15 oz. can blackeyed peas
1 large egg
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. seasoned pepper
6 heaping tbsp. SR flour
1 1/2 cups chopped onions
1/4 cup vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Pour peas in medium bowl and mash well with a potato masher.

Add egg, seasonings, flour and onions. Mix well.

Pour oil into skillet and heat on medium heat. Drop mixture by heaping tablespoons into hot oil. Brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
