14 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 cups sugar, divided
1/3 cup molasses
1 large egg, slightly beaten
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a medium bowl, mix the butter, 1 cup sugar, and molasses. Beat in the egg. In separate bowl, mix the flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, until a soft dough is formed. Shape into 1" balls, roll in remaining sugar and bake on ungreased baking sheet for 10 minutes. Better if dunked in milk before eating.
