2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 cups flour
5 cups oatmeal (blended in a blender until smooth)
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
2 12 oz packages chocolate chips
1 8 ounce Hershey Bar grated (freeze before grating)
3 cups chopped nuts.

Preheat oven to 375º

Cream butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add chips, candy and nuts. Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake for only 6 minutes (they won't look done, but let them cool and harden a little on the cookie sheet)

This recipe is incredibly time consuming but honestly worth it. They are the best chocolate chip cookies you can imagine. I generally only muster this much energy for Christmas!
