1 lb. butter
1 t. baking powder
2 t. vanilla flavoring
1 lb. chopped candied pineapples, cherries
1 lb. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 c. golden white raisins
4 c. all-purpose flour
6 large eggs
2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, beating after each. Add vanilla. Add 3 cups of flour which has been sifted with salt and baking powder. Mix remaining flour with fruits, nuts and raisins in a large bowl or dishpan. Pour batter into fruits, stir until mixed. Grease and flour a large tube pan. Bake at 250º for 3 hours.
