1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. water
2 level t. soda

Cake Ingredients:
1-3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 t. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten separetly
3/4 c. buttermilk
2-1/2 c. Swans Down Cake Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Step one: The very first thing you do is combine 1/2 c. of cocoa to 1/2 c. of water, add 2 lever t. of soda and let stand until rest is mixed.

Cake: Cream sugar and butter; beat in egg yolks. Add vanilla to creamed mixture. Add buttermilk alternately with the flour. Fold in cocoa-water mixture and egg whites beaten until they peak. Pour into three greased and floured 9" pans. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Cool. Frost with Snow Peak Frosting. (one recipe of 7-minute Frosting with 2 c. Kraft miniature marshmallows).
