1 3/4 Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cloves
1/2 tsp Mace
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 C Shortening
1 C Sugar
2 Eggs
1 C Applesauce
1/2 C Walnuts chopped
1/2 C Choclate Chips
1/2 C Raisins (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, salt, soda, spices. Cream together shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Add flour mixture and applesauce. Beat until smooth. Stir in nuts, chocolate chips, and raisins. Pour batter into greased and floured bread pan. Bake 325º 1hour 15 minutes.
