1/2 lb dry navy beans, rinsed
1 TBSP olive oil
2 celery stalks, sliced
1 onion,chopped
1 clove garlic, pressed
1 lg. can low-salt chicken broth
1 pkg frozen chopped spinach
1/2 C elbow macaroni (or other small pasta)
1 lg carrot, sliced

Directions:
Bring dry beans to a boil in a large pan with water; boil 5 min. Remove from heat, cover, and let stand 1 hr.; then drain. Stir fry celery, onion, carrots and garlic in oil for 5 min. Add beans and chicken broth, then bring to a boil. Cover and simmer until beans are tender - about 1 hr. Add spinach. Bring to a boil, then simmer until spinach is heated through. Add cooked pasta. Serve hot.
