2 c sugar
1 c butter, oleo, or salad oil
4 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp milk
sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Mix baking powder and soda with milk. Add remaining ingredients. Spread on cookie sheet. Brush with some milk, then sugar. Top with almonds slices. Bake at 350º for 15 - 20 minutes.
