1 (3 ounce) package Raman noodle soup mix
1/4 c butter or margarine
1 c walnuts or pecans, chopped
1 head fresh broccoli florets
1 head romaine lettuce, torn
4 green onions, chopped

sweet and sour dressing
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c red wine vinegar
1 T soy sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 t pepper

Remove seasoning packet from Raman noodles, and reserve for another use. Break noodles into pieces. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add Raman noodles and walnuts, and saute until lightly browned. Drain on paper towels. Toss together noodle mixture, broccoli, lettuce and green onions in a large bowl; add 1/4 c sweet and sour dressing, tossing to coat. Serve with remaining dressing.
