Double Layer
1 C. Milk
1/4 C. flour
1/2 C. Crisco
1/2 C. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Single Layer
1/2 C. milk
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 C. butter
1/2 C. sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/.4 Crisco

Directions:
Directions:
Cook milk and flour together until thick (stir cont). Cool-put piece of Saran wrap over to prevent skin forming. Mix butter Crisco and sugar together. Cream well; add vanilla. Add white milk/flour mixture and beat until double in bulk and very fluffy.
