1 c. corn meal - med grind
1 t. sugar
dash of seasoned salt
1 t. salt
1/4 to 1/2 t. black pepper
water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and add enough water to make the mixture almost soupy. Heat 1/2 inch cooking oil in a deep sided frying pan (enough to cover cakes completely). Spoon with a tablespoon into the hot grease. Turn one time.
